I may be missing a line/hose ... need some help

I was changing my plugs and wires today when I noticed a fitting just to the right of the throttle body that looks like it is supposed to be connected to something. Does anyone know what I am missing here? I bought my 4Runner back in September, so I have no idea what the original owner might have done. Any help is appreciated.

from that fitting there should be a line taht goes to your pcv. is there an aftermarket breather there? either way it is sucking in unmetered un filtered air. you need to plumb that asap.

I figured it out. The line goes into the intake silencer. I found some hose in the garage and connected it.
