i found a supercharger under my hood

so after 3 months of being board , here a couple of pics of what i have been up to. many thanks for blink for help with the install. s/c and all the other stuff was installed in 5 hours.
- TRD supercharger
- 7th injector
- URD 9 psi pulley
- 170 thermostat
- plasma booster
- walbro 190 fuel pump
- NGK IK16 spark plugs
- custom gauge pod (took about 24 hours to fab)

its kinda like an MSD. i got it from blink here on the boards. he was getting rid of it so i piked it up.

im still dreaming of a 3.4 swap and slapping one of those bad boys on there

the good old 1st gen will accualy have some kick than

i really dont like it at all .... I LOVE IT. this really should have been my first mod. the power the s/c produces is just crazy which is perfect for getting onto freeways

me too. Freeway on-ramps suddenly become an exciting affair as you get up to speed with minimal "effort" on the skinny. Good stuff. Doug is a good guy, glad he helped you out.

thanks ... that pod was a PITA to fab but i guess hard work pays off in the end.

Along with the plasmabooster do i need new ignition coils? Would it offer any real world benefit to an NA setup?

I think you would be wasting your money. Coil-on-cylinder, or DFI is a very efficient design. Unless you have something attempting to "blow" out the spark, you won't see any noticeable gains. Just get the SC'r already!

I ran it N/A for a while - there may be a bit more twist on a hard launch, when you're dumping a lot of fuel all at once into the cylinder, but for the money, I wouldn't recommend it.

And no, there's no need for new coils. It's causing multiple firings in a real short period of time thus increasing the duration of the spark.
