How to remove factory front sway bar 2002 4Runner?

I've been reading for 40 minutes trying to find a post that says how to get the captive hardware on the front sway bar off and can't find anything. I'm installing some ADDCO sway bars and this has me stumped. I have to be overlooking something simple as plenty of people have done this.

The factory bolts are welded and they're square. I can't get a socket on them.

HELP!

Those are merely the nuts. Instead of boltiong UP into the frame like the 2nd gens, they bolts point DOWN and the brackets them selves have the welded nuts. You will need a 12mm socket, from the TOP to get them loose.

DOH! Thanks bro. Front bar is now off. I can't believe I didn't notice that.
