how to get cam sprockets off on v6?

this is the last thing holding me back from pulling my heads and i can't seem to get the damn bolts loose... standard threads right? i don't have the special toyota tool, usually i'd jam in a screw driver or crowbar but this hasn't worked. i've heated the bolts with a torch to release any locktite and pounded away with an impact wrench... any idea's? anyone in the northbend, wa area have the special tool they would loan/rent me? i want to pull my heads so i can order parts before being stuck up on snoqualmie pass at work for the next week.....

dug around on the forum, anyone have a sickly huge pipe wrench?
do i have to remove the cams to remove the heads?

I just went through that arduous task a few weeks ago! It's a real PITA! You need the special tool. I used a chain wrench with an old belt to protect the teeth. I broke a 1/2 inch socket trying to break torque on the nut so I had to use an impact socket. Still it took two 200+lb guys with cheeter pipes pulling with full strength. Finally got them off but I dimpled the teeth on the sprocket very slightly. The tool is $30-40 online I would get one. I'll try to find the link for the tool. It is right hand (normal) threaded.

Cams have to come off to remove the heads unless youi want to cut the rear timing belt cover.
