how to access steering column on a 96
Something's not quite right with my steering since I installed the body lift. The steering felt ever so slightly "thick" after the BL, but only just barely noticable. I didn't think it was a big deal. Yesterday, I felt a pop and my steering went back to buttery smooth like it had always been. Since that pop, there is a rattle which sounds like it's coming from inside my steering column (between the wheel and the dash board). I'm hoping it's just a bracket that has come loose.
I want to take a look at it this afternoon on my lunch break, but I don't want to waste a ton of time trying to figure out how to get in there. So, what's the easiest way to gain access to the steering column?

jackson,
to remove the cover, have a philips head screwdriver ready. turn the steering wheel all the way to the right and remove the screw. repeat for the other side. pull off plastic covers---there are two parts (top and bottom)
