High Idle
I have a 94 Toyota Pickup with a 22RE. Just the other day the truck started to idle funny. When it's started up it jumps up between 2000 and 2500 rpm's. Nothing I do will make it come down. When I stop at a stop sign and push the clutch in it jumps right back up to 2500 until I let the clutch out then it goes back to normal. This morning I got in it and mash the gas pedal to bring it down and it started loping. I checked the vacuum hoses and they all look fine. Does anyone have a clue what could cause this? Thanks for any information.

I would re-check your vaccum lines again... if any of them look worn or brittle I would replace them. Also check you MAS and see if it's dirty at all... There are a number of things it could be though.
I'm kinda new to the Toyota scene but I can tell you that the majority of looping idle problems in just about any car will relate back to a vaccum leak of some kind.
