Here's how i did the rear diff breather...

I noticed alot of people who have done the mod have removed the rubber ring around the gas tank filler tube and either clamped or zip tied the breather to the filler tube. I did it a little differently. First i removed the plastic piece in the fender well that covers the filler tube. Next i opened up the gas door and using a drill in reverse, i burned a 1/4" hole through the rubber surround. I then stuck the barbed end of the breather through the little hole in the rubber surround, and connected the 5/16" fuel hose to it from inside the fender (kind of a pain) and clamped it. So basically, the rubber surround gets pinched in between the breather and the fuel hose and it stays in place pretty solidly. Then i followed through with installing the union in place of the breather on the axle, and hooked the other end of the fuel hose up leaving plenty of slack for when i do my lift. Wont have to do this mod twice.

remove this piece:

run the hose up along the filler tube:

hook the hose up to the breather:

and enjoy:

Deckplate mod is coming up next

sorry no pics of the diff, that part is no sweat. The biggest pain was getting out the plastic clips that hold that plastic piece in the fenderwell.

i did the same thing for my diff breather mod. the only thing i learned from your pics, and i will be using this idea is clamping the breather top behind the rubber gas thingy. this way it wont get in the way of the gas cap. thnx for the info.

Thats great, clean look, and seems easy enough, you'll love the deckplate, also try the ISR mod.
