here is my yota, 1998 sr5

I am a newbie here, the site is sweet, So My 4runner is pretty much stock, I just herculined my bumpers and next I am going to do is buy a lift. I was thinking the OME lift. I think its the 881/906 kit. I am torn on the shocks though. Has anyone here used this kit? Also any thoughts on essential mods would be great! thanks

Dustin

Nice rig. If you have the rear locker, the grey wire mod is free and popular. Try a search for it, there are tons of writeups and how to's.

As far as other "free mods" I can think of, there's:

ISR removal (engine mod)
Deckplate mod (air intake mod)
Tighten throttle cable (self explanatory)

There's probably more but I'm in the middle of writing a 10 page research paper now.

Oh and ps, the OME lift is popular and well liked here and on other forums too. Same goes with Toytec.

thanks for the reply! Ya Im not sure I really like the herculined bumper yet, but it is growing on me, As far as the mods go, I dont mind spending money on them, I was curious what most people do first. I was thinking suspension, then rims and tires, then exhaust. I dunno, i guess it depends on the bank account...
