herculiner/bedliner, ever seen it on a yota?
one of my jeep buddies did this recently to his cherokee and it looks great. he got the idea off of his jeep forum. here is the thread:
http://jeepforum.com/forum/showthrea...ighlight=fitch
i was thinking of putting a little bit on the rear bumper because i have tons of scratches/dents, and i think it would be a nice covering touch. you can buy the stuff in different colors, but it might be hard for me to match my 4runner since i have the dark green sport edition color.
just wondering if anyone has ever done this on a yota, or seen it on a 4runner? i think its pretty cool on the jeeps, but im just curious how it would look on my 4runner. if anyone wants to photoshop, that might be cool, heres a pic of mine.

First off, let me tell you that if I had a 'Runner, it would probably look like yours! That said, I have seriously considered doing this myself after seeing another Lunar Mist Taco with black Hurculiner along the bottom rockers. I have yet to commit to it yet, but it looked pretty awesome. I think it would look good on your rig, especially after looking at the link you posted. The color of that Jeep and your 'Runner are pretty close, and I think it would turn out pretty cool. There you go, that's my 2c, for what it's worth!

preciate it.
if anyone is good with photoshop, or is bored, feel free to try to chop some bed liner into my 4runner along the rear bumper and rocker panels!
by the way, im sure anyone reading this knows this, but this bed liner, especially hurculiner, is reallllllllllllllly strong, and would elminate any future scratches or paint chips....pretty cool stuff.

I had a 84 toyota truck that I coated the whole thing with herculiner. It looked awesome for a few months, but it faded out and you couldn't keep it clean. I finally figured out that tire foam stuff made it look like new for about a week. I got a lot of compliments on it and it held up extremely well while wheeling in brush and tree branches. When I sold it, some people who called were scared off by the idea it was completely covered in herculiner. I sold it to a hippy chick and I If I was going to do this type of thing again I'd spend extra cash and spring for line-x since it has a hardener in it and is supposed to hold up against uv rays quite well. I'll have to dig around for some pics of my old truck.

Ive seen a couple with it on the rear quarter pannels or the rocker pannels.
i think they have developed a UV stablized verison now that doesnt fade as bad. (i think)

I've seen a 2nd gen runner in it. It came partially up the doors like 4rockers. In my opinion it looked very tasteful. I would consider it myself if I didn't have so much rust around the lower part of the fenders.
