*HELP* Trouble Removing rack & pinion - 3rd gen Taco

My pressure feed hose turns as I loosen bolt. It's not like the return tube where it turns freely. Has anyone come across this before and if so, how do I get this off? thanks...

Hey Toubee,
The pressure tube and nut is similar as the return tube.
You should just be able to hold the tube while turning the nut and it should loosend without the tube turning.
If the tube will not stop turning then about a foot back from the end of the tube you should see the pressure tube hose fitted to another hose. Remove it from there.
I was looking at my rack this morning and thought it may have been easier to reconnect the return and pressue tube from back there instead of trying to screw the nuts directly to the steering gear. It was a real pain trying get in there. Tight quarters.

Thanks Mike. I never thought to look further back on the hose, I'll give it a shot tomorrow and let you know how it went. Thanks again.
