Help with Camry problem?
Hi all this is my 1st post and it has nothing to do with my Hilux Surf but its about a Toyota Camry someone I know has and this is more or less a copy of his e-mail.
It doesnt start. There is no spark. He took off the distributor to look at it, and it has a plastic housing that's cracked, so I'm presuming moisture got in there and screwed something up.
Question is this: The distributor is pressed in, and he had to pry it out with a screwdriver. now he can't press it back in! He tried to press it in by screwing back the bolts, but there are only two of them, and they are on side of the distr. and it wont go in straight!
There isn't any space to hit it back in either. any suggestions?

If it is a press-in then there should be some kind of seal for it. maybe an o-ring or metal seal. Check and see if it was damaged and is now not allowing the dis. to go back in. Do you have a manual like Chiltons handy. That may help. Hope this helps. And welcome to Yotatech.
