Okay I looked for threads on this but did not find any. If I missed any please direct me to them.

Okay I removed my Air camber for cleaning and a new gasket. I marked all the vac lines but forgot to mark the 3 Throttle Cables I am wondering what the exact way is for fine tuning them. I have it kinda working now but the gas pedal is not smooth and catches through acceleration

Are there any on-line manuals enplaning this? My darn Haynes Manual dose not show how to do this. Thanks for the help!

The vehicle is my 90 4runner 3.0 Auto with cruise Control.

Your hayes manual isn't even worth using as toilet paper on it's best day. You have 3 cables: throttle, tranny kick-down, and cruise. If your throttle is not smooth it's very possible that your kick-down cable is too tight (they work against each other).

Distinguishing between the two: Your throttle comes from your driver's side firewall near the pedal (duh). Tranny kick-down comes up from the tranny on your passenger side.

Disconnect the kick-down and get your throttle adjusted so that the butterfly inside the throttle body is opened all the way when your gas pedal is floored (you'll have to have your intake pipe off to see inside). Now put the kick-down cable back on and if it's still too tight, loosen it right to the point where the throttle becomes as smooth as it was when the kick-down was off.

If you loosen your kick-down too much your tranny will have sloppy shifting. Too tight and your throttle will be very stiff and won't open all the way.
