Yea.. I am searching out more BBS to show off.. No, in fact I have not been here in ages.. Corey has pointed me to that sweet intake mod for the 3.0 and I started looking around a bit..

Just thought I would introduce myself to anyone who did not know the truck..and show off the truck

That thing looks hot. You need to put a bumper and winch on your list to complete that perfect look and function.

That color keyed bug deflector looks great. There was some discussion about color matching bug guards not too long ago.

Yea.. time and $$
That bumper has been hit no less than 3 times off road.. (I have taken it off twice and hammered it back out on the other side)

I am putting on the sliders next and then someday the ARB will go on and I want to copy Mike Herschauer's rear bumper without the tire carrrier..

"Nasty" ?? I hope that is a good thing

I can't believe you don't have Sliders already with all those Wheeling pics.

Hi Lee, sliderz will look killer on the rig.
Are you having that guy in your Club you go wheeling with make them?

Yes, the only way I was able to put on the ARB, winch, & sliderz was to skimp on the snorkel.
That way it freed up a few bucks for the other mods.
One day I'll have the same one you have.

And I also am going to have Badland Bumpers who made my sliderz build me a "Mike Herschauer" special type rear bumper.
That is a clean design.

Yes we have grown quite a bit here.
Be sure to take a gander at all of the articles we have up in the Tech area now.
I just recently last week added 110v to my rig.

Corey thanks for that pic!! that made my morning! Seeing as ONCE AGAIN it is all kinds of nasty out (snow/freexing rain/regular rain).

Hey Firefyter.... did you do the snorkel mod yourself? HOw hard was it? BTW, your truck looks SWEEET! I love those monster flares! and what kinda rack is that?

I took that pic a few years ago, and I'm glad I still had it floating around.

The flares Lee has are the same as mine, the Bushwacker Extend a Fender model.

Lee has another post here with the URL to his write-up on the snork.

Here's another pic someone Photoshopped for me a few years back.
I really want to do this mod later on.

Yep, 44Runner has done it.
Here are his pics.
He is also doing a SAS on his 3rd gen.

http://www.filebox.vt.edu/users/ddelaney/

I beleive he used some Tacoma air box parts to mate with the 4Runner box, as the snorkel is labled for a Tacoma.
