Hella FF75 Question

I am thinking of adding additional lighting, probably to the YakRack. I like the way the FF75 can fit behind the fairing with the Yak Lighting Brackets.

How does the Hella FF75 stack up against something like the Hella 500?

I like the size of the FF75, but do not know how much they put out. I have been to the Hella site, but the Light Tunnel does not allow you to compare the FF75 with the 500 or 550.

Hey George,
A little late, but still relevant...
Ill be setting up 2 driving Hella FF75's and two more fog FF75's facing forward and 2 more addiitonal fog facing the rear for reverse lights on the Yakima Loadwarrior. The driving FF75's just arrived in the mail but the 4 fog's are still on backorder. To mount the lights I'm using simple Yakima clamps. Here are some pics of the driving lights mounted but not wired up.

They are able to be covered up with the rack fairing if they are tilted down about 20 degrees.

I have the Hella FF50's on my roof rack and the FF75's as backup lights. I replaced the FF50's H7 bulbs with a pair of philips Vision plus bulbs. They are really really bright now. That H7 bulb is extremely efficient and will throw a lot of light. The philips bulbs just added onto that. I would say they throw just as much light as the 500's stock and more with the upgraded bulbs. That is pretty good since the reflector is MUCH smaller than the 500's. (BTW, I have used the 500's as well, so I can do a good comparison). Hope this helps you out some.
