Thumbs down Hella does not stand behind their products

Well, I just got off the phone with Scott at Hella and the news is not good. Hella does not and will not stand behind these lights. Those of you who got lights, you were fortunate enough to speak to Scott early on when he had a supply of lights to give as replacements. That is no longer the case due to the demand for replacement lights. Hella points the finger at Toyota for not buying the ‘fix’. Those of us who bought the ‘kit’ from PP are just f’d because PP doesn’t care.

All in all, I am very disappointed in Hella and have to say I don’t think I would ever buy one of their products again. I am glad I kept my plastic cut outs as the bumper looked odd with the holes.

Does anyone have any experience with other fog lights for those cutouts? PIAA maybe?

Where is that thread about mods you regret?

If you're talking about the little round ones, I would look into CATZ XSL . They appear to be about the same dimensions. I've had good experience with CATZ and I know a few others who have, too. I use their Zeta light amplifiers.
If you're looking for something to put in the valance, you might look into the PIAA Dual Sports/920. I have a set installed in my valance. Take a look. It combines the PIAA superwhite lamp and an ion yellow lamp. They are the best lamps I've had.
