Heater/AC Fan Whine on 03 Runner
Hey Guys,
I've experienced both last winter and this winter a whine that comes from my heater fan when it's on auto mode and only operating at the very slow speed. It's a high pitched whine that's just plain annoying. It seems to only happen once the truck is warm and fan has been on for a solid 30 minutes or greater. Anyone else noticed this? I replaced the cabin filter last Spring and just took it out and cleaned out all the junk again this past weekend. Should I drop the fan and check things out? Maybe a dust build up on the fan becuase it certainly isn't the motor bearings otherwise it would be doing it all the time. Let me know what you think I should do.
