having a bad mod day

this question is for the guys with the 2002 skid plate.i'm getting the rig ready to install one I've been working at it for about a good 2 hours. i got the driver side bracket off with no problem. The passinger side is the one with the hook on it, i have one of the nuts loose but it's not comming out it spins easy for a 1/2 turn then the next half it gets a little harder to turn is the nut stripped up inside? what are my options? can i just cut off the bolts, weld the hook to the skid plate bracket then to the frame? any help wil do

I'd keep blasting ti with WD40 and leave it til tomorrow! Should help it come off. Welding is too permanent!

yeah, or try some of that liquid plummer spray stuff. or take it to a shop with some heavy duty power tools and have them help you. one of those should do the trick.
