I started a thread on the Donnelly mirror sold by CIPA because I am looking for ideas on what to do and how to deal with the console button after I install the Donnelly mirror.
The Gentex mirror can be had with the same features and from what I can tell mounts the same way that the Donnelly mirror does with a wedge mount on the windshield. If that be the case, as given the negative inputs I have had from people in the past who have had both mirrors, I would look more closely at the Donnelly mirrors. One thing that people have told me is that the Gentex display is harder to read and takes up space on the mirror face whereas the Donnelly displays are underneath the mirror face. JM2C

From what I read, the mirrors are either wedge or cam mount. Are you saying the "stock one for the 2003" is a headliner mount just like the 3rd Gen 4R's? I am confused?
