Happen to anyone else?
I've been meaning to ask but forgot...
The power/normal buttons on my 4Runner don't stay down...
When I press the power button it doesn't stick down...
I have to actually hold the button down for it to work...
So when I let go it goes back to normal...
Anyone have this happen to them?
If so what did you do so that it stays down?
Thank you,
Ian

I had the same problem with mine. I did just what HOJO suggested. The switches in our center console are in a BAAAD place. Vulnerable to spilled "beverages", food, dog hair, and any other misc. crap that ends up in our cab.
Turned out my power/norm switch was full of congealed soda. I CAREFULLY removed the switch housing and CAREFULLY cleaned the mechanism and scrubbed the contacts.....CAREFULLY.....
(did I mention I was really carefull?)
DO NOT use "contact cleaner" That crap will fry your old switch. A little 409, a little air pressure, and a little patience.
