is it possible to have a grill/brush guard, like the waag one, and a 1-2 inch body lift? i'm guessing not, but i'm not sure...

Sure just leave your bumper at stock height and deal with 1-3" gap between the bumper and headlights and oh yeah if you have brush guards then the guard loops will be lower than the headlights and probably block them. Good luck.

ive done it. i did a 2inch lift and moved my guard up as well. got a kit, forgot where, but if i find it ill post it

yeah...i would deffinately suggest extending it. Otherwise it just does not look good. I have seen a 4Runner in College Station several times with a body lift and brush guard and it just looks messed up.

he said to just cut the brushguard by the brackets, move it up a 2'' and weld it back together.

Whats this hole in picture for? Is it for a brace that goes through the grill and attaches to the frame somewhere? If so its probably best to make a cut above that point. Make up a nice plate that extends the upper part of the brush bar. Do you have a pic with the light guards installed?

You know I've got the same problem...I've got a 3" body lift in mine and I was wicked upset when I got an e-mail back from ARB telling me that I would need someone with fabrication skills to modify my bull bar if I bought one....So far I've not been able to find any company that sells brush guards that compensate for a body lift....So I'm going to one of my buds locally to custom make me one......But if anyone has any other suggestions please chime in...lol

I myself would remove the rubber around the front. Make a cut at approximately where the white line is. Make up a plate like this. Paint it . put it in place. trace holes from the plate . drill holes into brush bar. And bolt it up.Replace rubber. It would look like a 2 piece brush bar. No one would know it was modified. And it would be very strong.

no, no pic with those side light guards on. i didn't install them, i kinda don't want them. i just like the center piece.

and that other hole...not sure what it's there for. i think it's a one of the holes used when mounting those side light guards on.

that idea you said about extending it...i don't know. maybe. where would i get something like that done tho?

A fab shop would either make the plate for you or just weld a piece in. But if you weld it, the powdercoating will be destroyed. Thats why you make the plate and drill it.
