I had a early day so I decided I would replace the wheel bearings on my 4Runner.. Well I had one side all done using the FSM for torque specs right down to the hubs except my wrench did not go down far enough for the outer caps.. So, I just tightened them with a 1/4" ratchet.. Last bolt on the drives side all of a sudden made that sickening muffled "pop" of a broken head.. DAMN!! So I figure I will either fix it now or slap on an ADD plate and do it later so I start to remove that bolt.. funny it was backing out.. So I start thinking heil-coil time.. Well the bolt came all the way out and in all my days I have never seen this before.. This dang bolt snapped dead in the middle but held on by the threads on both sides.. had about 1/16" gap and the whole bolt backed out of the undamaged hole... pretty much fell apart when I pulled it off the socket..

Luck??, you decide...

One more day, one step closer to 100% back to normal.. Now for the alignment...

I just did.. Maybe if I get a good wheeling shot.. Problem is I don't tend to get stuck and my rig is not a big as most so I don't tend to get as many photo opps. as others... and I would hate to slap up a drive way shot on my main page.. But take a peek and you will see I now have the ARB page up as well as a 95% complete GPM mount page..
