For a measly $2300, you can get a JAOS Suspension system for your 3rd Gen 4Runner. Here's what you get:
Seems like a bargain to me.
Sure is pretty, though. Note, the rear shocks are adjustable. Check out the nifty bumpstop extender blocks. Some of the literature says the springs are made from Titanium, other literature says steel. No one I've ever talked to about this stuff knows much about it. And that includes JAOS dealers...

Yeah. I should mention that if you just want the shocks, it's "only" $952 plus shipping. The springs themselves are "only" $622 plus shipping.
How do they expect to sell any of this stuff???

I'm sure show trucks buy this stuff... for the name recognition. BattleZ suspension and stainless steel *cough bling bling cough* brush guards go a long way in show competitions.

It would be fun to have $2300 that I could throw away just to see what this stuff is like. Maybe it is the bomb and deserves such a fetching price. Who knows? I've never seen iany of it on a real truck in real life before. Anyone here got that kinda dough to blow? If so, go grab this stuff and tell us how it is.

one thing I wll give them is at least it is a "full kit", including an ebrake cable bracket, and a panhard bar, it looks like anyway. The next closest thing is OME but no bumpstop extensions, etc. Any body who is slightly creative or has a can piece together a much better kit though for much less.

It's Japanese stuff... Not only are the exchange rates high, but importing that stuff is ridiculous. Trust me. Japanese stuff for my 3rd gen RX-7 is obscene too.
Oh... and that stuff plain sucks...

And while we're at it, why not get $1500 bull bar? At $1K it is a bargain!
