Gforce chip or supercharger booster?

Gforce chip or supercharger booster?
so i want to buy something to give me some more HP and i found a gforce chip online for $70 that has a lifetime warranty and i talked to a tech. for the company and he said it would give me up to 30HP. but i also found a supercharger that slips inside your air intake tube and is basically a fan inside there for the same price. and that company claims that the booster will add 5%-7% HP to the wheels... any thoughts or advice on which would see more gain. what do you guys think?

Neither of them will do a damn thing for power.
Save your money and put it towards a real supercharger.
Better yet, re-gear your truck since you're running 33's. That will be enough power.

ok after reading reviews on both i dont think either one is a good idea, thanks Scuba, new gears would be awesome but their a bit more money and wont different gears decrease my gas mileage by alot? and i think a super charger kit would be an option i found this one for a good price but i dont know if it will reap the benefits that they claim it will i might have to spend a little more. any thoughts?

After looking at both of the "turbos", the first doesn't spin it just causes the air to spin from being sucked thru. The second one does spin and could help a little. I would doubt that it will produce 5psi on a running engine.

Gears will help your fuel mileage by putting your engine back in its power band. You'll need less throttle to get up to speed and to maintain speed.
Stop looking at those chincy gimmicks. You'll only be wasting your money.

Yeah, don't waste your money. Save up, buy some gears, get those put in, and it will help. Then, if you still want more power, try a header if you don't already have one, then go for the true turbo. Not this gimmick stuff.

All of those things are pure snake oil, COMPLETELY worthless. Don't waste your money.
The only upgrades that will really make a noticeable difference in power for you is a REAL turbo upgrade, a TEAL supercharger upgrade or some headers. Everything else is not worth the shipping cost to get it.
The way you know the turbo or supercharger kits are real, is the price will be ~$1000+ used (sometimes slightly cheaper is you find a good deal on a used one) Or $3000+ new.
Since you have a 2.7l you should be able to find some headers for a few hundred bucks but honestly i would just not worry with any of it unless you go turbo, that makes the most sense for a 2.7l.

I heard if you piss in the gas tank that it thins out the gas and makes it flow easier, so it burns much better and saves your fuel pump from working too hard. It also will give you like 2000 more HP and 80-90 more mpg...
if you drink a lot of coffee beforehand you get an extra 500 HP and 200 mpg out of a tank...

These things are a scam. Period.
http://www.superchargertuning.com for example (which somehow is advertised on yotatech) made some claims about 5psi of boost at 1000 cfm, using a ~900W electric motor. Unfortunately for them, someone did the math wrong. Assuming no losses, boosting an airstream of 1000CFM by 5psi will require about 14000W, not 900W.
Ignorance of the law sometimes lets you break it, but not when it's the 1st law of thermodynamics.
