Getting rig ready for Tellico - NEED SHOCK SIZE INFO, HELP!!!
Getting my rig ready for Tellico and I need to figure out what size shocks I need to order. The 4 for 3 sale at rancho ends this weekend and I will not have my BJ spacers and FJ80 coils for a week. I need to know what RS9000x rancho shocks people are using for this setup (BJ spacer and FJ80 coils).
I was thinking:
Front: RS9272
Compressed: 10.25
Extended: 14.5
Travel: 4.25
Rear: RS9251
Compressed: 16.125
Extended: 27
Travel: 10.875
The guy I’m buying them from said the RS9251 have a 9/16" hole where I need a 3/4" hole. Could I just drill the hole bigger? He said the RS9272 would not work (he did not say why) he recommended the 92213, Compressed: 12" - Extended: 18.125". I'm thinking those will limit up travel. Don't tell me to measure becuase I can't I don’t have my coils or spacers and the sale ends Saturday. I have to have these shocks order by Friday night (sale ends Saturday).
Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From my understanding I should gain around 3-3.5" in the rear over stock saggin and 1.5" in the from plus I'll have to crank the t-bars a little. I have a stock 4Runner right now with stock shocks.

Greg,
I would go with what you originally planned
"Front: RS9272
Compressed: 10.25
Extended: 14.5
Travel: 4.25
Rear: RS9251
Compressed: 16.125
Extended: 27
Travel: 10.875"
The rear may be a little big, but for the front, I think your spot on.
