Question GENERAL AMERITRAC - any good?

I know that the Bridgestone REVO's are the hot topic for tires, but I found a set of 4 GENERAL AMERITRAC's on ebay for $269!!! Check it out....ebay item #8011025906
Anybody know if these tires are any good??...Cuz you sure can't beat the price!

NO!!! DO NOT GET THEM. We had a set of 275/70R16 General Ameritrac SUV ont he 4Runner, and they were horrible. Worst dry traction, even worst wet traction, extremely bad wear . The only good part about them were they were surprisingly good off road.

Hated it. Bronco II. Cruddy traction, 'rolly' especially on turns. Used them for half a year, then bought different tires. They were that bad.

we sold a lot of them when i worked at wheel works... people with $ seemed to liek them... i thought they sucked, big time..... they are good mileage wise.. they are an economy street tire

the only general anything i would put on my car is a general grabber mud terrain.....
