Gauge Install

Hey, just bought an autometer voltmeter and oil pressure gauge. I know how to hook up the oil press.......What would be the best wire to tap into for the voltmeter? Could I go from the fuse box post? Or would there be power there even with the truck off?

Voltage is fairly consistent in the vehicle, just grab the +12V constant wire for the stereo. It's the yellow one. Otherwise, just grab any +12V constant line and you should be golden. I'm assuming your gauge has a switched +12V line, ground, and constant +12V, so that it knows how to turn on and off. If it's just switched 12V and gnd, grab the red wire from the radio harness. Preferrably the one before the amplifier, if your runner has the OEM amp in it.
