fuel pump install
HI
I plan on putting in the Warbro pump is there a write up on this some where?
Or is it just dropping the tank remove and replace .
how long is the install average 1 hour?
thanks

There are several threads that discuss this and some info on Gadget's site. You could start with this thread...

You can also search under "fuel pump install" and find other listings on this site.
I used the thread above to do mine and it worked perfect. Just be careful with the sending unit when you have it out of the tank (bending the float rod, etc).
My only additional recommendations would be to:
a) find someone with a lift or be sure and use jack stands
b) use a jack to lower the tank slightly so you can disconnect the remaining electrical connections, fuel lines, fuel filler neck, etc.
Mine took about 3 hours, but could do it much faster the second time!
