I have a line on some FJ80 spings
The springs are off a 1991 fj80 land cruiser.
220k on the truck.
20 inches tall.

I want to put these on my 2002 sport. I will be ordering the Sonoran Panhard bar and brakelines, then looking for some shocks.

so, is this a good set up?
Are the miles too high?
Am I going to get any lift out of these old of springs?
Any recomended shocks to use?

What are you going to do for the front? You should probably do about 3" or so to match the rear after installing the cruiser coils.

The miles are probably fine, it just means that the springs have already settled for sure.

As far as shocks, I used skyjackers. I like them, but everyone has a preference on that.

front has a revtek spacer lift - for now.
I can get some new fj80 springs from the dealership, but I am not sure the part number/ color code of the spring.

I bought mine used from someone on the ih8mud forums. They usually pop up on here for sale.

I personally wanted to go with used ones. That way they are already settled and the lift you have is what you get.

I think I will get the new ones just cuz I know what I am getting into with those.
I know they will take time to settle, I am not in a hurry...
I still am looking for shocks. Do I get Landcruiser shocks or 4Runner shocks?
Not OEM, but a friend can get me Rancho shocks for his cost.
And the rear sway bar - any modifications for that one?

I used the skyjacker gas charged ones that are listed for my application (4runner)

My sway bar is still attached with no modifications. I will see how it holds up this weekend

Cool. So I finally got the part numbers from Toyota.
1991-1997 Landcruiser
Front coil
Left - 48231-6A120
Right 48231-6A100

That sound about right? The exploded parts diagram only shows one type of coil for the front of the LC for these years. No limited or SR5 or other options.
Just need to be sure I am tracking the correct parts.

I was going to call Sonoran and double check, but I think they might get pissed that I am not getting the coils from them. I am going to get the track bar and brackets from them though...

What are the landcruiser coils going to run you from the dealer? My brother picked up some new OME rear coils on trdparts4u for about $140 on sale. I used the cruiser coils because I am cheap and cannot pay full price for anything.

I have a set a front FJ80 coils from a '94. I'd sell them if you decide to go that route. Let me know, and good luck with yours!

Jeremy -LOL - yeah I am not wealthy myself, but I have been burned by "used " stuff before. I will splurge on my christmas present to myself this year and buy new.
I think $160 after taxes for new coils. Shocks were either $80 or $150 depending on what brand.
The Sonoran track bar is $175 and all the brackets should be around $100.
So yeah, Im only saving $250 , but it my $250 to put towards tires or front end set up.
