Finally got some new shoes for my 2002 Tacoma TRD 4x4

265 x 75 R16
BFGoodrich T/A radials KO

I was getting slight rubbing on full lock turns over bumps so I trimmed the wheel well liner about 1/2 an inch and it cured the problem.

These tires rock!!265 x 75 R16

Are they the same size as the Rugged Trails that came stock?

No, stock is 265/70, these are 265/75, about 1 inch wider(?) and 1 inch taller than the previous tires.

Stock: 8 inches across tread pattern.
BFG: 9.3 inches across tread pattern.

I cant wait to upgrade/replace my stock rugged trails.
20-25k more miles til they wear down. Theyre not too bad
with the kind of wheeling I do.

I'm also aiming for the 265/75/16 BFG AT KO.

It looks sweet in your truck,

Thanks!

I bought this 2002 used from a lady who only drove it about 20K miles and wanted to trade it for a Mini Cooper. She sold it with a color matched Touneau cover (fiberglass) for $17000. She just put new tires (stock) on but I wasn't happy with them. I sold them for $300 to some guy and used that money to get the new BFGs. (and added some $$$ of course).

I love the A/T's, but I'm not sure if I want to do any trimming. I guess I don't have to worry about it for a while because my truck it brand new.
