Question Final Vac Gauge Question...

Sorry to bring this back up, just wanted to make sure it would work...

If I we're to remove the hose running from the intake manifold to the valve cover, and connect the vacuum gauge to the intake manifold, and install a breather filter on the valve cover, would this work? Seems simple enough.

Below is what I'm trying to describe.

Thanks again for any replies and tollerating my questions.

i think it'd work. a vacuum gauge should work on any part of the intake manifold that has vaccuum, if i'm thinking right

by the way, is that a celica engine?

Yup. I didn't have time to take a picture of my engine, so I just borrowed this on off the internet. Thanks for the reply.
