I am looking to replace some parts on my 99 4Runner Ltd to get it back up to snuff, and was wanting to see if anyone had suggestions on where to buy the parts, or if I have to pay stealership pricing.

1. Looking to replace my driver's side fog lamp...or better yet just the glass lens...it cracked, but I realize I will probably have to buy the whole thing.

2. Looking to replace the "4Runner" emblem that was on the back lift gate. It loosened up the snapped in two at the car wash.

3. Looking to replace the radio antenna, have read up on the replacement, but was wondering if there were any places that had the OEM antenna but at lower than stealership ($65) price.

4. Little grain of rice/wheat bulb that lights up the Electronic Climate Control screen. I know its one of those little bulbs in the twist holder, but the stealership wanted me to buy the whole unit ($850!!) and thats just not happening.

5. I may be wrong here (oops) so correct me if I am, but I was thinking the 01 tail lamps were different than the pre 01 lamps (more clear, less opaque). If this is correct, are they interchangable, or is it a big deal? Liked the newer look.


Thanks for any help you can provide. I found some items (like the 4runner emblem) on Ebay, but don't know if any would be correct for the year, etc .

OEM parts at discount prices. And these are real discounts, not those mark it up 30% then discount it 30% prices you often get online. I have personally checked their prices against toyota list price, and they are consistently 20-30% cheaper.

1. Hella makes a kit with lamps that look exactly like factory lites, and are cheaper. You can find them on google. Otherwise, get a used set or pony up for the OEM lights.

2. Get that new at Toyota. They are cheap

3. Check my above listed website, you will find it cheap there

4. The screen is an LCD. If its not working, you have the replace the whole unit (or find someone who can solder in a screen) if just the back lighting is burned out, you can take the unit out and repair that bulb

5. 01 tails will fit just fine, plug and play upgrade.

2/ 4Runner emblem-I debadged and have gold emblems. I can make you a great deal on 4Runner emblem, the 4wd one is sold sorry, and doubt you would want the SR5 one. See what kind of price you can get them for at the dealership-not sure how cheap that would be....

3/ Tacoma mast you could likely find at nearby junkyard-not a power antenna. You can't get a replacement power antenna for $65 I don't believe-unless just the mast itself needs replaced.
