Fender flare installation

Hello,
This is my first time asking a question, I usually just observe. Here is the problem I have a 97 SR5 and I am trying to install the limited edition fender flares and door claddings. I have all the necessary clips and brackets, but I do not have a drilling template for correct placement of the items. I have tried a couple of local body shops and they won't attempt the installation without the drilling template. Can someone please offer any suggestions. It will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

I went to the dealer and they said that the holes come pre-drilled and they did not sell a template.

Do you know anyone with a Limited in your town?

I bet the local stealership would have one in stock. Maybe you could go down and look at it.

Find a Limited to test drive... Tell them you want to take it out for a good hour.. Drive yours in to look at the "new" one.. Tell theem you are very fussy, don't want a babysitter or you will just leave. Tell them you want to drive it for at least an hour.. Then go find a place to pull the rear door flares off, and use some masking tape, tape a few layers onto the door, and mark the holes, and the door edge, and some body lines to allow you to line it up on your truck.. (give this to spouse or friend in second car to take home..) read it and learn LOL...

So how did it go? I am looking for the limited flairs now, but want to know how to install them. Did you get yours from the dealer or a junk yard or something?
