Why not the information labels? Figure someone mighta stuck em on there, like TRD stickers...? I believe the certification is on the doorjamb sticker.
edit: Nope, sorry, The CARB tag is required to be in the engine compartment. The Fed Compliance tag (VIN) is to be on the doorjamb.

LOL! Well you see the info stickers are faded and I can't read them.
I was going to buy some new labels and put them on but I want to get the right ones.

If it's got a whole mess of vacuum hoses that don't seem to lead anywhere or do anything when taken off, then yeah you've got CA equipment
If you have a Haynes manual it should show you diagrams of what emissions equipment looks like for CA compared to other states. Or, you could do like bob said and call Toyota and have them run your VIN.

If it's your intention to get replacements, this discussion doesn't much matter. You will have to get them from Toyota. They will verify from their own records which stickers are correct, no matter what you suggest to them. They will require proof that the vehicle is the one you say it is, they will want to know why the stickers need replaced, etc... Typically they will only allow a dealer to order and replace stickers to make sure it's the right vehicle and that they got installed on it.
