fast idle after maintenance
Had maintenance done today on my 2001 4Runner by a local mechanic I have had good luck with. Cleaned MAF, T.Body, new plugs etc. Drove home and noticed the idle is up.....to aprox 1000 normally it's 750-800 rpm. Could this be IAC or something ? Is there a idle 'learning' time if the battery was disconnected etc..?
thx

Sometimes the IAC gets gummed up after a TB clean. That's the second place to look.

Relearned idle. He was able to disconnected something (to relearn) without having to cut power to the computer. Will update post when I know exact info.
