Fast help with lift install please.

Hey Everyone,

Tomorrow is THE DAY that the ToyTec OME 3" lift goes on! I have the help lined out to come over and the appt at the shop to have the new springs compressed onto the front shock.... That's why I need help fast.

I have searched, and have not found "exactly" what I want to know, so I'm hoping someone here will know. The instructions aren't really clear as "where" in the mix the spacers go. They say to assemble the front strut with the new springs..... check..... then to place the provided spacer on top of the assembly and put back into the vehicle. My question... does this mean the spacer goes between the top plate and under the shock tower on the frame? OR does it mean between the spring and top plate?

I know, I'm really not very good at explaining it, but I'm hoping that someone with experience with this same lift will tell me what they did.

Thannnnk you!

James

assemble new strut/coil assembly on the top plate with the new extended studs. before mounting back on the truck just slide the spacer on top of the top plate and assemble

Good Lord man thank you!

This was what my gut was telling me, but I needed verification before I screwed something up.

Depends on what lift you got. Most of them go in between the top plate and the spring. If it has 3 holes drilled in it, then it means it will go on top of the top-plate and below the tower/frame.

Looks like you got the one inbetween the coil and top-plate... AKA "In the pack"

Thank you for the reply!

But MillerPKA had it right. It is the spacer that has slots that go on top of the studs on top of the spring plate....between the plate and the tower.

It looks like this: http://www.toyteclifts.com/images/pr...Runner-640.jpg

Thanks,

James

Ha, roor as in the the bong company?! Yeah, that reminds me of college. Can't beleive I didn't catch on to that name before.
But to reply to the post, the spacer will go on top of the top plate. Good lift, I've got it on mine and love it!
