Thumbs down Factory brake question

I have a 99 4runner with 16 inch wheels or so i thought. I bought new brembos and trd pads for it. but checked the vin sticker and it said it shipped with 15 in wheels. Come to find out i had after market oem 16's put on. My question is will the new 16in rotors i bought fit with the factory 15in brake set up?

my vin says it shipped with 15s too, but I have 16s. I heard another member talking about that. Not sure why they do that.

They should work, but, you have everything right there, you can just check it quite easily rather than having everyone guess.

I did the exact thing, ordered rotors assuming i had 16 inch wheels. I ended up buying the larger calipers on ebay for a decent price... I should have just done the Tundra upgrade at that point but I had already bought the rotors and i didnt feel like ebaying them out because I would lose a little money. One thing I did notice though, I bought brake pads for the 16 inch calipers and they fit right into the 15's. So I think you could get away with buying new shoes and sliding them in and putting the rotor on. That is, if with new pads the (I think) thicker rotor will squeeze in between the brake pads.
