Ever Ship Seats?
Now that my eBay auctions are over, how do I ship these seats? I think they weigh about 75lbs., and the box will have to be 4'x3'x2'. I'm getting estimates of $250-$450!!! Should I try to disassemble them and ship seperately? Anybody have similar problems?

Another option is to ship via Greyhound bus from your local terminal to theirs. I heard it was pretty cheap but I have no idea how much.
Hope this helps!

Last year I had seats from an '86 4runner sent to me. He sent each seperately in its own box, UPS. I think I paid $75 for all of it to be shipped to me. The back was in four pieces.
Hope this helps.

Jim,
I'd unbolt the two bolts on either side of the seat backs, stack them so they lie flat, box them up and ship it that way. I'm sure youve thought of that but yes, UPS wont ship things over a certain size.
Ask Mertztr about the Greyhound option. Also try Forward Air.

Truck freight isn't too bad depending on the company, and if you drop off and pick up at depot instead of having them deliver.
