I let my friend drive my truck though some mud last nite. He ended up getting us stuck. Lots of fun. I spent an hour or so digging threw slop and getting bit by bugs. I figure we would have made it if the Elocker was working.

We put the truck into 4-lo and pressed the elocker button button. Only one rear wheel would spin. The elocker light on the dash just blinked.. It was not constant. Is this right?

The reason I'm asking this, is that I brought the truck in for servicing a month ago to get a leaking rear axle seal fixed and to replace the oil soaked rear brakes. Could the stealership have messed up my locker? If so...........how?

A couple of other points of advice i'd like to pass on.
Never go alone offroading and never EVER let the two dogs in trunk go play in the swamp. You should see my freakin interior. Its another post in itself.

when the locker is engaged, it illuminates solid.... sounds liek yours is broken, or has some issue with it.... i don;t know whats wrong with your truck, but it isn't proper

You need to get under the truck and have someone press the elocker button in (in 4LO with the ignition in the "on" position). You should hear the motor. I am guessing you won't. I am willing to bet that something is up with the plug at the locker itself. Did you figure out it wasn't working after submerging it in the mud?

Check all the connections at the e-locker, you really can't miss them. Unplug and spray each one with contact cleaner. If that doesn't get it, you are going to have to get out the trusty multi-meter and narrow it down further.

Where is this plug located? Near the left rear wheel or the right rear wheel?
I never paid attention if the was locker was working before we put the runner in the mud. There was never really any occasion to use it before. The last time I used the locker was about 2 years ago.

It's located on the top of the differential. You'll see it. Just stick your head up in there.
