Duralast Brake Shoes
Hi I just ordered brembo rotors and Akebono pads for my 4Runner and am not looking for a good set of rear brake shoes....I looked on tire rack and they wouldn't be available for 8 weeks. I went to autozone and they have duralast shoes with a lifetime warranty and I wanted to know how these are, I searched and found some stuff about rotors and pads but nothing on shoes. What do you guys think?

I just installed some duralast shoes on my Tundra a week ago. Nothing negative to report, although time will tell. I'm sure there are plenty of guys on here that wouldn't use them, but I figured I'd give them a shot.

I am running EBCs in the front and the duralast shoes in the rear on the 4runner
the shoes are ok
the thing I hated about them is you had to remove the stud from the olds shoe and tap it into the new one with my buddys truck we found shoes with the studs all ready set from NAPA the 6$ more was worth it in time spent trying to pull those studs out and put them into the new ones.

My duralast shoes came with new studs in a small baggy in the box. I did have to install them in the new shoes myself, but I didn't have much trouble with it.
