Dual Batteries in a 3rd Gen with ABS??

Dual Batteries in a 3rd Gen with ABS??
Hey guys,
I know there is a ton of stuff about dual battery setups on here and on Pirate - been doing a ton of research to make sure I do it right the first time. It seems most people mount their second battery on the passenger's side fender near the firewall... where the ABS module would be if there was one.
Where is the best place to mount the second battery if you do have ABS? Things are pretty tight under the hood and I would rather not put it inside the cab if I can help it.
Oh - almost forgot, this is going in a 1997 3.4L 4x4 4Runner.

I did it in my 2002 4R. See pics here.
There are three pictures in that album. The first one shows the original configuration of the ABS relay box and the cruise control module before I moved them. The next shows the new location for my cruise control module on the firewall on the driver's side. The last one shows the battery installed over the passenger fender, with the new location for the abs relay box. Let me know if you have any questions.

That was during installation... I had to take everything back out to paint the brackets. then I installed the painless dual battery kit......

92 fourunner fuel pump relay
I finally jumpered my fuel pump to make it work at the diagonostic port. Now I need to find out where my problem lies. When I un hook my jumper the motor dies. I just installed a junkyard motor and it runs great but only with the jumper. Thank you for any help.

Bruce, I wanna run a yellow next to my red. I want to hook up aux lights and on board air to the yellow and leave the rest running off the red. I am worried about when the car is on and they are both charging. Since they are not the same battery. How does the car stop charging the batteries? Is there a voltage sensor?
I wish it had the option of having the second powering everything instead of the second mixed in with the first or out of the picture. Hope that makes sense. Then I could switch to battery two only, let it charge, then run battery 1 most of the time and only bring battery two into the mix when the lights are on so that it doesn't over charge either battery.
Now I wish I had gotten a yellow top so that I could run two of them without worries.

They are very common in campers so you can run the fridge, heater, etc but not kill your trucks starter battery over night for instance.

I guess I should post an updated picture.
For starters, I used to have a yellow top, not anymore, the red tops are better, 3 year warranty vs 1 year for the yellow. Both batteries are connected in parallel, with an isolator kit on the second battery. All my accessories are attached to the second battery, IE winch, HAM, driving lights, etc.... You have a switch inside the cab to control when the battery gets charged. Flip the switch one direction and the solenoid activates the system when the ignition key is on, the other direction will keep it on all the time.
Yes both batteries are 34R's.......

One idea is to "think outside the box". That is put the battery (aux. or both) elsewhere. I put both of mine under the truck, hanging under the rear seats, above the driveshaft:
