Drivetrain problems!!! Help!!!
So I have (had) an Aussie locker in the back. Drive to the gas station and as I round a corner, I hear a devastating BAM! I hit the gas and nothing but RPMs. I put it in reverse and it kicked in like nothing was wrong. And now it drives again. So I took it home, turned a couple wrenches, and popped out the diff. I look at the locker expecting broken/missing springs or shredded teeth or busted crosspin... nothing. It all looks good! Now I suspect the transfer case. So it's back to open diffs for me. Did the Aussie ruin my transfer case? This sound familiar to anyone? Any input appreciated.

I got used to the harsh noises, and figured out how to drive it. Kinda like walking a dog-- you gotta have just the right amount of tension in the driveline-- too much tension and the tires bark.
But the tranny was in gear, and I coasted to a stop while my foot was on the gas. Threw it in R and it went back to normal. I'm stumped.
