Door Lock Problem/ Corrosion

Has anyone had problems with their door locks corroding, more specifically problems with the hatch lock and handle? I am locked out of my hatch I can't get it opened. WD40 worked for my passenger and driver side but not the rear. Any suggetsions?
BTW I am interested in getting the Stock keyless entry system for my 96 4runner.

If all youre after is keyless entry, there are a TON of after-markets out there. All are about 1/4 the price of a factory job from Toyota.
As for the locks.... eeeerrrr. Once they corrode inside, youre pretty well "Frenched". The lock cylinders are just white metal. See a local locksmith. Maybe a good one can pull them apart and clean them that way.

None of my lock cylinders work with the key anymore. Years of using a key will wearout the pot-metal lock tumblers. Disassembling them for cleaning won't get you anywhere. The cure is NEW stuff. A new set for the 4Runner ignition, two doors and tailgate are around $200 for parts alone.

I got a keyless entry with my alarm about 3 years ago. Definitely worth the ching...

1Runner - what happened to "the good old fashioned de-chroming"? You ever gonna post a pic of that rig?

Ah, this is embarrasing. I had a pic I was going to post, but was doing something wrong. I have to read Coreys post on posting.
Also.... I feel like a liar. I dont have the Bushwhackers on yet. I HAVE them, it's just that my wife decided to have a baby in the middle of my "week of mods". Ever since my son came into the world, things have been on hold. (a little)
As for the de-chroming. Well, the poll was a complete blow-out. Everyone thinks the rig would look best gold & Black.... the idea is growing on me too. I'm gonna watch it change, see what happens.

Every so often my door locks become difficult to open. I use some of the graphite lube powder in a tube, and then it seems to work fine for a few months or so and I do it again.
