Do I need the shocks?

I have ordered my new lift but only part of it has come. I got the 3.5" Downey rear coils but not the Bilstein shocks yet. Can I Run the stock shocks till the Bil's get here or are the springs too long?

I will also be adding my SAWs when they arrive. Will it drive poorly with just the rear up for now? I know it will look a little wierd, will it be safe?

thanks!

AL

I'm guess that you are going to over-extend the stock shocks. Why not just wait a little longer for the SAW's and Bilstein's to come in, and do it all at once?

What length Bilsteins did you order? I bet they are stock length, in which case, you are running the same length with only different valving.

If you need help turning wrenches or want to have a beer and look at runners, shoot me a PM or something. I go to school in Madison.

To be completely honest i don't know which ones I ordered. I let Mike at xtreme off-road take care of that. He basically set me up with the right stuff.

I guess I am just impatient. I really want to get this thing put together. i guess I will end up waiting till it gets here.

Thanks for the offer. I may take you up on that. The GF really doesn't enjoy wrenching w/ me!
