disabling headlight flash during alarm

A buddy of mine set off my alarm a couple days ago and it got me thinking that with my HID's I don't like how the headlights flash. I don't figure it's good for them, and I don't really see a purpose for the headlights to flash anyways, the actual alarm is loud enough to scare anyone off.

I searched around with no luck. I've seen a few diagrams pertaining to the alarm schematics but nothing helped. Would there be a way to do this? I wanna say it's as easy as removing the headlight power lead to the alarm brain but I really don't know anything about the alarm other than it works and what happens when it goes off. Thanks in advanced.

Waldz

This has to be it - when installing my own aftermarket alarm, I tapped into the parking light wire of the stock alarm. Get a DMM and test around to see which wire has continuity with the headlight switch or the headlight relay
