Ok Well I got HOSED real good when I bought my 4runner, it's a 99 highlander edition 110k for $8500.00 Well I was in a hurray to purchase it before someone else did, so I never ran a carfax or really spent alot of time checking it out. It was totaled in 2k1 the roof was replaced and was not put on correctly, the door done fit right the windshiled don't fit right, I had a few electrical problem and determined that the interior fuse box was junk( it was all coroded and green, well I replaced it $167.00 ka ching ka ching, now I tried to clean up the connectors and they started breaking of from being coroded so long, well now I'm looking for the connectors and about six inches of wire so that I can replace them all, there has to be some available somewhere........... a guy at tap recycling said he would sell them to me but has not answered my last 3 emails and the four other junk yards I cantacted have not resopnded,,, HELP<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<PLEASE

The accident in 2001 must have included the vehicle being submerged for that kind of corrosion inside. I would say the junk yard is your best bet. The fuse box should be pretty much the same on all 3rd gens and I doubt that wiring harnesses are hot items at the junkyard.

Man, that sucks! I'm going to guess that it was submerged as well...or you've got a major leak into your fenderwell. I would drive down to the junkyards, and look yourself...thats the only way I can ever find anything!! Good luck!

I just got one from TAP last week. They charged me 150 for the block plus 100 for all the wiring pigtails coming off the block. It arrived in a week. I talked to Hector on the phone. Try and get a hold of someone in person, I know they are super busy. I think they will be your best bet. I just torched mine welding in patch panels, so I feel your pain. Good Luck.
