Guys are parting out complete trucks all the time on here in the Classifieds. Or you can check out a junkyard. I don't know if you will find a working one for less than $35.

i priced one out the other day as well, dealership said the same thing
i really wanted a new one b/c i got 10 years of used out of that one, didn't want to buy off ebay since i don't know if the clock will crap out a day, week, or month after i buy it. i'm probably just gonna use the clock on my cd player and have to look at the dark spot on the dash. i wish they made aftermarket clocks!

Ebay is like junkyards-you take a gamble on the previous use or misuse.
I bought one from ebay 18 months ago and works fine. Just pick the seller carefully.

Nothing wrong with Ebay. You just have to know how to read through the feedbacks. Heres one for you:

W 699 feedback and a 99.6 rating I would feel comfortible buying from this person.
Like PFDAXE said its all about the feedback rating the higher the more likely you are to get zero problems or quick fixs if there is a issue.
