diff welding question????
Can you weld directly to the DIFF housing under the vehicle? I was thinking of adding some diff guards to my rig this weekend? Let me know if this possible without dropping the fluid?
THANKS IN ADVANCE

Yep, but take your time and don't weld straight on for an half an hour or so. Do not heat up the oil too much, give it time to cool down between welding. Works for me all the time.
But than again, I'm quit lazy.
