Did the Dollar bill test and Pop Pop Pop - Now What?

hello - I did the dollar bill test on the exhaust and there was a lot of Popping (constant) pop papop poppop.. What do i do now? My truck is an 85 w/22re 63000 Original miles - I bought it used - Truck has been sitting for a long time. I've already done a tune up (plugs, pcv, rotor, cap, wires) - What should be my next step?

Yes the bill was being sucked up against the exhaust, thus causing the popping - Is this a sign of MAJOR problems?

you either have a burnt exhaust valve or they are out of adjustment, try adjusting the valves first, if that doesn't fix it, then you will need to remove the head and have a valve job done to it

Thanks SuperJoe83 - I'm totally new at this, but I'll give it a try. I never did anything more that a basic tune up before I bought this truck, but I just recently (with Yotatech's help) replaced the calipers and rotors successfully.

Anything tricks I need to know before I open the valve cover??

you need to do a compression test. they should all be about 110 psi.any low cylinders will be your bill sucker.be advised a dead miss will also do that,as in crossed up plug wires.if one cyl does have low comp then check valve clearance. it could be held open or burnt.
