Talking DFW wat #2

Well, my truck wont have an engine Clicky for details. , and 4wheel parts wont take my lift back, so lets get it installed. I need some motivation to get the thing running. I have the 4 inch pro comp ifs lift. I haven't bought tires yet cause I want ya'lls opinion.

I was thinking we could do the install 4-24...

Let me know.

Food and will be served.

I should be able to make it on the 24th. Is your laptop back yet? I want to see those pics .

BTW, I just ordered some wheel locks in part to replace that lug we lost, I'm trying to find a 7/16"-20 fine all thread so I can fix that endlink I broke, and now I'm spitting a little grease from the drivers side CV, so I need to pick up some zip ties to fix that.

My laptop was supposed to be shipped today, but it wasn't. We got tired of working on the engine so we started on the rear lift. We're having a hard time cause the floor jack isn't tall enough! The rear already looks so much taller. Any way, snoozer, as soon as I can I'll get you a link to your pics.

Jack the truck up as high as you can by using the differential housing as your jack point (some will say this isn't a good idea, but I have on all of the vehicles that I have lifted, which is a few.....only one of my own which I'm doing now). Anyway, get the tires off this way. Set the truck down on jack stands (use the frame for this. Lower the jack, this will lower the suspension back down. Replace the springs/add spacers, however you are doing it. Jack the truck back up the same way. Install tires. Remore jack stands and let the truck back down.

Good to go.

Guys ... if you're in Texas, as I assume most of you in this post are ... ... I asked Corey and he said that if there was enough interest, we could get a Texas 4ROC going ... so I started this thread sometime last month, and if enough of us reply in there and have an interest, Corey said he'd create a little forum for Texas too ... and then we could make stickers and have our very own Texas 4ROC!
