“Deck plate” mod and gas mileage.
Just want to share this info:
I did my “Deck plate” mod about two moth ago.
And now my gas mileage about 1 mpg more than it used to be (went from 20 MPG to 21.1 on the highway). This is my third tank of gas that I used for highway driving so I think my measurement is correct.
However, it has not changed my in town gas mileage that was and still is about 17.4 MPG.

Cool.
I did mine Saturday. Its the third I had done and I actually has sensor safe RTV and a deck plate in stock
I can do them in about 30 mins now...using the radius tool on my rotozip tool makes it a breeze...
